Board President
Tangelica Duplessis
Tangelica Duplessis is a licensed secondary math educator in Indiana, currently teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry at Lawrence Advance Academy in Indianapolis. She was named Lawrence Advance Academy's Teacher of the Year in the 2018-19 and 2022-23 school years. Tangelica emphasizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills in her teaching, preparing students for real-world situations.

Claire McRoberts
Claire McRoberts brings more than 12 years of legal experience, with a strong background in higher education, contracts, partnerships, compliance, and nonprofit service. She currently serves as College Counsel for Ivy Tech Community College and also advises Ivy Tech’s Foundation. Claire has held legal roles with Indiana University and Crowe, and she has served as Signature Events Chair for Indianapolis Professionals Advocating for Animal Welfare since 2022.

Victoria Odekomaya
Victoria Odekomaya is a former drug research scientist turned award-winning brand photographer and strategist, empowering female entrepreneurs to build a bankable personal brand. In 2022, Victoria launched the BOSS LADIES CAMPAIGN, providing participants with a celebrity photoshoot experience and promoting them while raising $20,000 for local non-profits.

Kristle Brooks
Kristle Brooks is the CEO and a Licensed Independent Life Insurance Adviser of Kristle Brooks Investments LLC, dedicated to educating and advocating for financial improvement. With nearly 19 years of financial industry experience, Kristle helps individuals address financial challenges and achieve freedom.

Kendrea J. Williams
Kendrea J. Williams is the Founder and Executive Director of PitchFeast, a nonprofit empowering BIPOC entrepreneurs with equitable opportunities. Kendrea established PitchFeast in 2015 after researching resources for Black and Brown entrepreneurs during her college years. PitchFeast provides critical business resources to under-resourced entrepreneurs through its flagship pitch competition.

Aliscia Pace
Aliscia is a healthcare professional with nearly two decades of experience, holding a Master's in Nursing degree and practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She owns and operates a successful home care agency, and her STEM experience aligns with the Nyla Nova Foundation's mission. Aliscia brings empathy and expertise to the foundation, striving to empower the next generation of STEM leaders.

Ellise Antoinette Smith
Ellise Antoinette Smith brings strong experience in higher education, community engagement, leadership development, and strategic planning. She is a Ph.D. student at Indiana University Indianapolis and has held leadership roles focused on student success, training, policy, and campus-community partnerships. Ellise also serves on several boards and committees, including Aurora PhotoCenter and SENSE Charter School.
